Networking meetings

On July 5, 2024, a meeting with students from international programs of Jagiellonian University took place at Willa Decjusza. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss opportunities for student involvement in project activities and to introduce them to the planned initiatives within the program promoting multiculturalism and civic rights. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of young people in promoting European values and their active participation in social and political life—especially considering their current situation as young foreigners who are active and have time availability. The main objectives and areas of action that students can engage in were presented, including organizing workshops, assisting in event execution, and conducting research on multiculturalism. The students actively participated in the discussion, sharing their ideas and expectations. Potential challenges faced by students functioning in temporary communities during international semesters were also discussed.

As part of the meeting, a mini-workshop on creative event planning for multicultural student-migrant (temporary voluntary migrants) communities was held.

The meeting concluded with an invitation for further collaboration and maintaining contact within the project group.
