For thirty years, Villa Decius has been a space where culture becomes a meeting point: between local communities and international networks, between heritage and contemporary challenges, between ideas and real-world action. None of this happens alone. That is why Laurel for the Patron is more than a ceremony—it is our public recognition of the relationships that make cultural work sustainable: long-term, consistent, and built on trust.

During the event, we expressed our gratitude to Patrons and Partners who have supported our programmes for residents, community initiatives, artistic and literary residencies, educational projects, and the care of our unique heritage site. Thanks to this collaboration, Villa Decius continues to thrive as a laboratory of ideas and good practices—an institution grounded in a public–social partnership model, co-created with the City of Kraków, civic partners, artists, and the wider community.

As we begin our 30th anniversary year, we want to say it plainly: culture is a shared responsibility. Patronage—understood as long-term support and co-ownership of values—is one of the most meaningful ways to invest in a city and its people.

To all our Patrons: thank you for your trust, presence, and momentum. We are starting this anniversary with gratitude—then we move forward with even more to come.
