The Presence of the Willa Decjusza Association at the Lead Balkans Conference

Ms. Dominika Kasprowicz, Director of the Villa Decius Association, took part in the Lead Balkans Conference titled “Strengthening Partnerships among Young Leaders of Diaspora and the Western Balkans.”

During the flagship event of the Western Balkans Fund, organized in cooperation with the International Visegrad Fund in Tirana, dedicated to migration processes and cooperation with diasporas, the Director spoke about the Polish and Kraków experience in building creative sectors and the role of the people who co-create them.

Drawing on the experience of institutions such as Villa Decius, discussions focused on the importance of including artists in migration policies and international cooperation processes, on the freedom of artistic work, and on the potential of cultural exchange programs as tools for building sustainable partnerships.

The conference also served as a space for exchanging experiences among young leaders from the Western Balkans region and diasporas, highlighting the importance of cross-sector dialogue, cross-border cooperation, and the building of lasting relationships based on trust, knowledge, and shared values.
