In an intimate atmosphere, participants had the opportunity to discuss the needs of this community and address the cultural differences and associated challenges.

One of the key topics of discussion was the need to create greater space for initiatives dedicated to the Latino community. Participants emphasized that while they are eager to engage in meetings and events, they may feel marginalized in the expat environment (dominated by Eastern European contexts). It was highlighted that it is important to create platforms that facilitate integration and the exchange of experiences, which can help in building a stronger community.

The discussion also focused on the differences in the functioning of public spaces in Poland compared to South American countries, which affects the level of trust in the state and different models of social participation. Participants noted that Poland presents a different social context that may hinder the active participation of the Latino community in public life. Therefore, actions are needed to meet the needs of this group while taking into account their cultural differences.

The meeting aimed not only to exchange information but also to build a sense of community and initiate further actions to support the Latino community in Krakow. Participants concluded the meeting with hope for organizing more events that would promote integration and a better understanding of their culture in the Polish context.
