Why “Doomed to Books?” Because they read from the cradle and can’t stop! Because without books, their day becomes slow and their night becomes sleepless! Because they write books themselves or gossip creatively about books! Because they taste books, smell them, wash them and…. they eat! Meet 7 convicted personalities and 7 moving testimonies! Find out that you can read anywhere and anytime, and life with a book sentence is a real life sentence. “Sentenced to books?” is a series of 7 filmed interviews, whose protagonists are residents of the Villa Decius Association’s scholarship programs. The aim of the project is to promote reading using the creative potential of the filmmakers themselves, who not only answer the questions, but also co-create the film story.

The series of films is one of the components of the “Tour de littérature” project, which is operated by the Villa Decius Association. The project is financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
